Although he recorded two timeless hits, “Zagrljeni” and “Volim te, budalo mala,” he never presented himself as a singer.

He was born in Rijeka, but has lived in Dubrovnik since early childhood. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Dubrovnik, but never worked in that field. While still in high school, he became interested in acting and performed at the Dubrovnik theater Marin Držić. He filmed his first movie, “Occupation in 26 Pictures,” directed by Lordan Zafranović, in 1978. After that, he decided to devote himself to acting.

In 1983, he went to the United States, where he spent seven years and completed studies in production and acting. Afterwards, he lived for a short time in England and Vienna.

He has acted in more than 55 films from the former Yugoslavia. His most notable role was in the 1982 film “Cyclops” (original title Kiklop) directed by Antun Vrdoljak.
