Pečar acquired his musical education playing the violin, and the audience of EKV adored him. Women considered him the most handsome member of the band, and in one interview, he admitted to having several loves, but all but one were unhappy.
The first band he played in was “BG 5”, then he joined the band “VIA Talas”. In 1982, he joined the group Ekatarina Velika. He remained with them until 1990 when he went to London where he played in the band “Mišn” and Lost Children with Dušan Kojić – Koja (Disciplina kičme). Bojan also pursued painting in his free time.
He passed away on October 13, 1998, in London from a heart attack. He was buried in the village of Progar, near Belgrade.
