“Tempo” was the most famous sports newspaper in Yugoslavia, published for decades under the umbrella of the company Politika. Passionate sports fans would regularly stop by newspaper kiosks on Wednesday mornings to buy their favorite paper and get their dose of sports news.
“Tempo” was one of the main sources of sports information and entertainment. In addition to news, interviews, reports, and the widely popular sports posters, the well-known weekly also featured a classified ads section through which many people met, started corresponding, and exchanged photographs.
It was discontinued in 2004.
