Igor Milanović – jedan od najboljih vaterpolista svih vremena

Igor Milanović, the man who, in Madrid in 1986, scored a last-second goal against Italy, causing a nationwide celebration in Yugoslavia!

His biography is hard to summarize in a few sentences: the greatest water polo player ever, inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1996, a double Olympic gold medalist—in Los Angeles ‘84 and Seoul ‘88, and a two-time World Champion—in Madrid ‘86 and Perth ‘91, as well as a European champion in Athens ‘91. He won titles with every club he played for, including Partizan, Mladost, Red Star, Roma, Budvanska Rivijera, and Katalunya.

In his career, he played 349 matches for the Yugoslav national team and scored 540 goals. After retiring as a player, he continued as a coach, achieving remarkable success, especially with Partizan and Pro Recco.
